Nadia Yánez, LMHC

Founder, Yánez Psychotherapy

I founded Yánez Psychotherapy out of deep respect for both the science of psychology and the trust involved in the therapeutic process. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped by a collaborative, relational approach to care.

In the therapy room, I aim to create a space that feels warm, thoughtful, and deeply respectful of your autonomy. I bring curiosity, flexibility, and humor into the work, while staying focused on meaningful and sustainable change. Whether we are strengthening emotion regulation or exploring relational patterns, the work moves at a pace that feels right for you.

I am a bilingual licensed therapist with a clinical focus on early development, parenting, and the relational experiences that shape how we connect and grow over time. I completed my graduate training at New York University and am currently pursuing my doctorate in Psychology at Pace University, with advanced clinical training in child and family mental health within hospital-based, multidisciplinary settings.

Rooted in my European and Latin heritage and informed by a global clinical perspective, I bring an attuned and culturally responsive presence to my work, shaped by context, culture, and individual experience.
